The HAC aka Maskcara Beauty IIID Foundation Highlight & Contour
Have you heard of "highlighting and contouring" or the HAC method? If you are middle aged like some people I know (insert giggles and a shh with a wink), you probably have not. If you are a young tween or someone under the age of 35, you're probably a pro at it. I did not grow up in the age of YouTube channels with makeup tutorials teaching anyone with a cellphone or a computer how apply makeup and advising of tips and tricks. I still "want my Mtv"......still amazed by more than four channels on a tv that I can change with a remote. The only makeup tips I have acquired over the years was from HSN or QVC in the middle of the night when I could not sleep due to the aging curse of hormones.
Highlighting and contouring a face with Maskcara makeup gives the face all sorts of enhanced goodness. The younger generations that I spoke of above are very familiar with the latest makeup application tips. Thanks to the beauty of Maskcara Beauty, any age or generation can share in the beauty of the illusion of makeup.
I will be adding to my blog things to share with you that I have learned about this HAC (highlight and contour) method being applied with magical formula of Maskcara's cream foundations.
Here is a list of just the few things that I have learned:
1. HAC is not just for the YOUNG. It's for everyone......ALL of the beautiful faces.
2. When we add contour to our face we are creating shadows on our face that give the illusion that those areas are smaller/thinner. It's the step that defines or chizzles our face.
3. When we add "highlight" to our face, it is doing exactly that~ highlighting the features on our face that we want to stand out.
4. Cream makeup is made to bend with our "natural" expressions that sometimes happen in our faces as we age.....(another wink wink). It blends together very well leaving what feels like layer of new flawless skin.
5. We are not one dimension so our makeup should not be either. Adding highlight and contour to our face creates dimensions allowing us not to look flat.
6. Cream makeup benefits our skin by giving us a dewy, heathly, hydrated glow.
7. You're never too old to learn a new trick or treat or is it a trick that provides a treat??? You decide.
In this photo below, I show you three panels of the process of before to after.
The Maskcara cream makeup has magical characteristics....Yes let's call it unicorn makeup. In the photo below I point out my blemishes.
In just a few simple steps in which I diagrammed below, my flaws are disguised by the best coverage (in my opinion and in the opinion of many others as well) out there.

All of the makeup you see above has been applied with brushes and blended in with a beauty blender known to Maskcara as the Perfector Sponge. The brushes are made of the softest dense bristles which picks up the cream makeup and applies it giving coverage that appears flawless, creamy and dewy.....WHO WOULDN'T WANT THAT!!!
All of the makeup is considered foundation....highlight, contour, lip & cheek and illuminator. The highlight is what would normally be called foundation. Lip & cheek would normally be referred to as blush with the illuminator being known as highlight.
Each element of the foundation comes packaged in a nice little tin which fits neatly into a magnetic compact making this makeup convenient and very compact. (See below)
